Growing up in the Midwest, leaving for a time, and returning, has deeply shaped my visual language. I am drawn to the familiar quiet lush beauty of this landscape, and the ordinary moments that often go unnoticed. 

Whether through ceramics, painting, or stitching, I see art as a way to hold memory and intention. I use symbols and patterns that I gravitate towards and assemble them into my work. It becomes a ritual that has always been a source of peace for me. 

I will continue to explore why making feels so essential, and how beauty and belonging can be found in the smallest moments. I hope my work can offer others a moment of stillness, much like it brings me while I create it.
